BCGE was founded in 1816 and offers banking services to private individuals, companies and institutions in Geneva and the region. It is active in the areas of private banking, asset management, mortgage financing, corporate lending, financial engineering and trade finance.
BCGE has 21 branches in Geneva and also operates in several cities in Switzerland and internationally with representative offices in Dubai and Hong Kong. BCGE had 917 full-time equivalents as at 31 December 2023.
Finnova has been developing innovative, efficient and secure banking solutions for 50 years. Its customers include over 100 banks, representing a third of all banks in Switzerland.
As a long-standing client of Finnova, BCGE is acquiring 11% of the company’s shares. This long-term commitment, which is accompanied by a seat on the Board of Directors, emphasises the importance of a closer partnership between the bank and a major player in the field of banking applications in Switzerland.
